"Food For Good" organized the second "Caring Chef" at Chinese Culinary Institute.
"Food For Good" organized the second "Caring Chef" at Chinese Culinary Institute on 14 December, 2013. Students from more than ten schools participating in "Zero Food Waste @ Campus" had a buffet with green theme. The messages of reducing food waste and eating only the amount you need were brought out. All the dishes were designed according to the principle of food cherishing and were managed by chefs from Chinese Culinary Institute.
Ambassador Karen Mok attended the event with her mother. Karen also shared her experience of food cherishing.
When it was near the end of the event, Mrs. Regina Leung Tong Ching-yee, Founder & Patron of Food For Good, Prof. Joe Leung Cho-bun, MH, JP, Chairman of Food For Good and Mr WONG Ka-wo, President of Hong Kong Federation of Restaurants & Related Trades, held empty plates and took photos together, in order to support food waste reduction.
