"Food For Good" organized a press conference at Hong Kong Disneyland to announce its commencement on 24 February, 2013. The conferment ceremony of a plaque contaning the calligraphy written by Professor Jao Tsung-I was held on that day. Several tens of guests and media friends attended the event. Most of the guests also attended the "Caring Chef" luncheon held after the press conference.
