"Food For Good" collected surplus food and food waste at "HOFEX 2015".
"HOFEX 2015 - The 16th International Exhibition of Food & Drink, Hotel, Restaurant & Foodservice Equipment, Supplies & Services" was held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 6 to 9 May, 2015. During the event, Prof. Joe Leung Cho-bun, MH, JP, Chairman of Food For Good, served as a jury member in a cooking competition. Prof. Jonathan Wong Woon-chung, MH, Vice-chairman of Food For Good, delivered a talk about the management of food waste in the catering industry. "Food For Good" set up a booth in the venue to collect food. The food were then transported to "Food For Good Community Kitchen" and given to the needy. There was a food waste processor in the booth of Food For Good in the venue to handle the food waste collected from exhibitors.
