The Groundbreaking ceremony of “Tsuen Fook Kui” Transitional Housing was held on 23rd May. The ceremony signifies Food For Good’s first transitional housing project, “Tsuen Fook Kui”, which is located at where formerly known as the Luen Yan Street Cooked Food Bazaar in Tsuen Wan. We were honored to have invited the Secretary for Transport and Housing, Frank Chan and Undersecretary for Transport and Housing, Raymond So to attend our ceremony.
Food For Good gained recognition in Hong Kong over the years for our commitment and dedication towards food waste reduction and the redistribution of surplus food to those in need. Now, we hope to help alleviate the housing problem in Hong Kong through our soon-to-be operational transitional housing projects, solving the two basic necessities of life, Food and Shelter.
